Host your own (Docker)

For greater privacy, you can host your own instance of Threadkiller.

Requirements

Installation

  1. Create and access a directory on the host machine:

    mkdir my-threadkiller
    cd my-threadkiller

  2. Create a bot at @BotFather, and get its API token.

  3. Create a compose.yml file in the directory you created with the following contents, replacing the TG_BOT_TOKEN value with the API token you got previously:

    services:
      bot:
        image: g.starshard.space/steffo/threadkiller:latest
        restart: unless-stopped

        environment:
          TG_BOT_TOKEN: "0000000000:AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

  4. Run the bot:

    docker compose up -d
